When your washer is not working at all: Find out if there is power in the washer. Examine the washer for tripped circuit breaker or better still, you can find out if the fuse has blown off. Examine the wall socket if there is power. Check if the power cord has not being removed from the washer. If that is the problem, then there must be replacement of wiring. It could be as a result of lid switch. When the lid is defective, it will not be effective. This lid is found at the door. It is very important to change the lid switch. When the washer is filled and drains simultaneously: It may be as a result of drain hose which is too low. Ensure that the drain hose is lengthening up to 3 feet long higher than the ground. When the washer does not drain: It could be as a result of the water pump or the clogged drain line. Find out if there is anything that stocked in the pump or the drain hose is linked to the pump. Water pump such as frozen pulley or broken impeller could be the problem when the drain line is not clogged. If that is the problem, then the water pump need to be changed to new one. Remember that if you have belt drive washer, try to check if the belt has crack or not because this period could have being the best time to change the belt. If there is no hot water: Try as much as you can to turn the hot water on. If there is no cold water: Ensure that the cold water is on. When there is no water at all: The first thing you have to do is to ensure that water is always in the washing machine. Check the water inlet valve, if that is the problem, try to replace it. If the timer is not working: Check the timer control panel board and if you see any black feature, carefully remove it or clean it up. This is leads. Check t he resistance and ensure that it is between 1100 Ohm and 3000 Ohm. In case this is different from it, make sure the timer is replaced. The washing machine fails to draw water or the water flow is inadequate. When the water level is low, it could be as a result of insufficient water or the hose filter has been blocked by dirt or debris. What you need do is to remove the hose and clean the filter gauze with the help of suitable brush. After this cleaning, the water should be flowing very freely without any obstruction. But if the water is not flowing to the washer very well, the problem could be in the time circuit. I want you to note that any problem with water flow could also come from bad water level. All what to do is to search for control panel circuit, check the resistance that is between the tails of the cables that are connected together. Normally, for a pair, the resistance has to be zero and if it is pairing, then it must indicate infinite resistance. Therefore, you need to work on the level of water and adjust its switch if they are not equivalent. The washer fails to run: If too many cloth fabrics are placed in the washer, the washer might not run. Try and reduce it. Do not forget to check the motor or disjointed leads to the agitator.
